The T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) Early Childhood® Alabama Scholarship is for individuals who are working as child-care and pre-school teachers, directors, and family child care home providers in a Department of Human Resources (DHR) licensed child care or First-Class Pre-K program that is willing to sponsor the recipient.
The program provides the opportunity for individuals currently working in the early childhood field to take coursework to increase their knowledge and skills by giving them access to early childhood credentials and a college degree.
